St. Catharines city councillor Mike Britton and Niagara Falls city councillor Joyce Morocco, both members of the Niagara District Airport commission, pointed out recently that the airport has huge, unrealized potential for boosting economic development in Niagara by bringing in international flights.

Welcome to the new era in St. Catharines municipal politics.

Mike Britton’s topping of the polls [in St. George's Ward] was a shocker. Egads, man, he’s only 25! I try not to think that’s the same age as my son. It’s too disorienting.
